Dan served as a deacon at the Spencer church of Christ from 2010 to 2021. He married then-widowed Rhonda, who had two sons, Tyler and Tanner, in 2005, and they were blessed with 2 more sons, Levi and Noah. Tyler and Tanner have married so their family has added 2 daughters-in-law.
Dan is the owner of an outdoor furniture business and spends free time with family, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Blessed with a wonderful voice, Dan loves to sing and lead singing. His favorite book of the Bible is Proverbs.
